For some reason Monschau decided to make a big deal of it. We did climb up to them hoping to seem some really cool stuff, but it was mostly a pile of rocks that used to have the form of a chunk of a castle. It was sad and boring to look at. We clambered over some of the natural rocks up by the ruins, though. That was fun. I think maybe there is so much old stuff in Germany that the idea of ruins is different compared with an American sensibility.Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07594334076699034082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256228436832968166.post-39959983155912375152011-11-01T05:45:02.186+01:002011-11-01T05:45:02.186+01:00Mitchell here. Great outcrops, great fall color, way to get out and check out new places. I think your instincts on the Christmas question are sound, and expect some great photos next visit.Mitchellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256228436832968166.post-6227657046729766122011-11-01T05:30:27.194+01:002011-11-01T05:30:27.194+01:00Beautiful photos!
